Q: Which image formats does ImageBadger support?

A: ImageBadger can load and save over 150+ image formats and compression methods. For a list of the image formats, see the Features page.

Q: Can I choose where to store converted images?

A: Yes, when you use ImageBadger you will be asked where to place the images. You can choose either to store them in the image's original folder, in a folder you specify, or append a folder path to the image's original folder. You can set any of the three options as default.

Q: Can I customize the right click (shell context) menu?

A: Yes, you can choose which image formats you want to be visible in the right click menu. This allows you not to show the image formats you never use. You can also choose to remove the right click menu completely and also add it at a later time.

Q: Does ImageBadger have command line support?

A: Yes, ImageBadger has all functionality available through commandline, so your own system can integrate with it and make commandline calls to ImageBadger.

Q: Can I preview how the images will look before applying filters?

A: Yes, when adding images to ImageBadger through the main window, you can preview how the images will look both before and after the filters are applied.

Q: Can I apply a set of filters in right click (shell context) mode?

A: Yes, if you often need to e.g. make thumbnails of images, ImageBadger allows you to make a profile with e.g. the resize filter. You can enable and disable this profile on the right click menu, so that whenever you need to make thumbnails of the images, just enable the profile and convert as normal.

Q: Can I save and load lists of images?

A: Yes, after adding images to ImageBadger through the main window, you can save the list of images to a file.
